SR23 from north of SR16 to north of SR21

The project consists of the construction of a new section of 11 miles (17 km) of the First Coast Expressway. This road is a bypass around the city of Jacksonville connecting the I-10 to the north with the I-95 to the southeast of Jacksonville.
The SR23 is a toll motorway which in this section has separate roadways with two lanes in each direction, and three junctions with existing roads (SR21 and Henley Road) and with roads to be built in the future (CR218).
The project includes the execution of 26 structures, earthworks, drainage, services, signalling and defensive systems, ITS and toll systems, lighting and fencing.
