San Francisco River inter-basin diversion canal

Execution of 54 km of trapezoidal canal, six elevating stations, four reservoirs, eight bridges and four walkways. The total extension of the works is approximately 163 km (along the canal) + 260 km (by road).

The aim of the work is to supply water to semi-desertic zones in the north of the country, passing through three states: Pernambuco, Paiba, Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte.
