Rumichaca-Pasto motorway

The road will increase the company's competitiveness and the region's connectivity with the construction of 62 km of dual carriageway from the township of San Juan (Ipiales) to the township of Catambuco in Pasto; 16 km of improvements between Ipiales and San Juan, and 5 km of improvements of the Catambuco - Pasto section.
This 83 km road link will improve long-distance traffic with its design speed of 60 km/h, leading to greater safety and convenience and a better level of service on the road, and reducing travel times by approximately one hour.
The project includes the construction of six viaducts along the road link and a raised roundabout in the community of El Pedregal.
