Soto 4 Combined Cycle Power Plant
Duro Felguera together with Alstom developed a turnkey EPC project for the 400 MW Soto de Ribera IV Combined Cycle Power Plant, for the end client Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico. In September 2006, Duro Felguera awarded the following engineering services to Sacyr Fluor:
•Detailed engineering for the BOP (Balance of Plant)
•Detailed engineering for the powertrain
Soto V is a highly flexible high performance combined cycle power plant, which strictly complies with the environmental limits set by its Integrated Environmental Authorization. Combined cycle power plants guarantee the security of Spain’s power supply and play a fundamental role as a back-up for renewable energies.
Engineering work was completed in October 20017 [sic], and the plant became operational in July 2008. The client recognized the quality of service provided by Sacyr Fluor as well as its timely delivery, acknowledging the hard work of Sacyr Fluor, which led to the subsequent awarding of the project for Soto Vi.
