Increase regasification capacity of the LNG Plant in Belgium.

The scope of Sacyr Fluor’s work to expand the LNG Plan in Zeebrugge (Belgium) has been developed over two stages: Basic engineering and FEED for the 2nd jetty and 5th tank, and a second stage corresponding to the Owner’s Engineer for the 2nd jetty and 5th tank.
The scope would cover the basic design package and FEED for the 2nd jetty for loading, unloading, and ship-to-ship transfer operations with LNG tankers from 3500 m3 up to  Q-Flex (260,000 m3), through 20 inch unloading arms and small unloading arms for future bunkering operations with smaller boats. It also included the  basic design package and FEED for the 5th tank holding 160,000 m3 of LNG and installations to manage low pressure BOG for reliquefaction and high pressure for the grid.
In the EPC stage of the 2nd jetty, SacyrFluor is providing Owner’s Engineer services (PMC) for the EPC that also include the expansion of the gas systems. In 2015, Fluxys awarded Sacyr Fluor the contract to provide Owner’s Engineer services (PMC) for the 5th tank and BOG management facilities.
SacyrFluor has recently been awarded a new EPCm project for Fluxys in Belgium to expand the regasification capacity of the Zeebrugge LNG plant up to 2,600,000 Nm3/h and reduce CO2 emissions, as well as to increase and automate the number of LNG truck loading  bays.
